Moving in the north: what to plan for
- Mawson Lakes. Apartments, townhouses and student housing near the university campus, with lifts, shared driveways and visitor parking rules. Book lifts early.
- Established homes in Salisbury and Ingle Farm. Mostly single-storey homes from the 1960s to the 1980s, usually with easy truck access and a garage to clear out.
- Elizabeth and the Playford area. Many original Housing Trust homes alongside newer infill. Simple access, but check side gates and carports.
- New estates in Munno Para and Andrews Farm. New streets, some still unfinished, with building sites close by. Check parking and access the week before.
